Every year, Mike's Drive In restaurant holds a classic car show. There are a ton of entrants from newer cars, going back to ones from the 20's. If you know Lulu (and Greg for that matter), then you know that this was not to be missed. When I saw the pictures, I had never seen her give so many genuine, happy smiles. No faking it there! They both had a blast.
The owners invited Lulu to sit in this car. What an honor. Lulu thought it was cool. She asked what some of the buttons did, but did not push them. The owner did tell her she could push the one that was the horn. It was a custom, old fashioned sound, kind of like "Aa-OOOO-gah. It startled Lulu a bit.
Lulu liked this green on because she has almost an identical Matchbox at home.
This is Officer 'Stache. We were near the police station and fire station. Lulu saw the patrol car and wanted to get a closer look. The cop seemed a bit distracted, but receptive. We wanted to get a picture of just Lulu with the car but Officer 'Stache thought that he should be in the picture as well. OK, it's his car. Then I picked up Lulu to get a look inside. He opened the back door and then shut it rather quickly. Then he opened the front, said "There is the computer", turned on the flashing lights (no warning-Lulu and I jumped) and then shut the door and took off. Lulu looked up at me and said "Can we see the fire truck again"?
