Monkeybuttism

With Lux's increased mobility and independence has come some "exploring". She is getting good at emptying out toy baskets, deshelving books and generally moving stuff around. It looks like a hurricane passed through after she leaves a room. I remember Lulu doing this for quite a while and how much this phase sucks.

Do you know what this is and why it is on her high chair tray?

Yes, Virginia, it is a C clamp. Imagine a tray full of food. Now imagine it all over the floor. Lux had learned how to remove the plastic tray from her high chair and throw it on the floor. Very messy and even louder. Kind of a pain to put on and remove it multiple times a day, but worth it.

Her last antic. She has figured out how to press the soft nozzle of her sippy cup against the floor, tray and various body parts to make the water pour out. Just before this she had the cup pressed against her forehead with the water streaming down her face. This from a girl that screams at us when we get her face wet in the tub. I don't get it either. Must be like how a dog will stick their face out a window in a moving car but will get annoyed at you when you blow in their face.
