Planting Time

Well, we finally got about 90 percent of our garden planted. Our raised beds have an abundance of the smaller veggies and leafy types. Just need to string the trellises for the green beans (4 types) to grow on. Our 2 new lasagna beds have our large and small squash. Our garlic is doing really well in the whiskey barrels. From the looks of the stems, they should be pretty big. The last picture shows the progress of the little cottage that the neighbors are building in their back yard.

Our garlic crop.

The raised beds all planted.

The new lasagna beds. The front one on the right is all planted with 5 different types of small squash and cukes. The left one will have tomato plants in the middle flanked by 2 types of larger winter squash that can spread out.

A view of our back yard with our asian pear, plum and apple trees. Lulu's play structure is off to the left.
