Elliott and Lulu.My friend Elisa and I, along with our kids, went to the beach for the day. We were expecting some rain, but it never appeared. Yeah! We had a good lunch, rode the carousel, visited and fed some seals, flew kites and played in the sand. We all had a fun time. Much thanks to Elisa for driving and remembering to bring all the great beach toys!
Lux had her first ride on a carousel. For the first 4-5 revolutions she seemed to enjoy it. Then she started to cry so I took her off and held her. Lulu liked her ride.

Lux saw a bird and tried to get closer and investigate. Every time Lux took a step, the bird did as well. If Lux stopped, so did the bird. Lux soon grew tired of that game.

Lulu flew a kite for the first time. She really got into it and got it pretty high.
All the kids zonked out on the ride home except Lux (she napped on the way there). The towel around Lulu's head is there to help hold her head up. She was in her spare car seat which is a basic booster with out any head support. As she fell asleep, her head would fall over 90 degrees and I felt bad for her.
